Food Safe Furniture Polish

Equipment

  • 1 double boiler with water
  • 1 pint glass jar
  • 1 metal tin for storing/using

Materials

  • 1 part local beeswax
  • 3 parts raw linseed oil
  • 1 wooden stirrer

Instructions

  • Melt 1 part local beeswax and 3 parts linseed oil (for example 1 oz beeswax / 3 oz lindseed oil)
  • Thoroughly mix when fully melted
  • Pour into wide mouth metal tin and allow to cool.
  • Application: apply to area with saturated cotton cloth. Thoroughly rub onto surface and allow to sit. Buff smooth. Several coats are recommended
