Lip Balm
Equipment
- double boiler with water
- 24 lip balm tubes with lid
- 3 plastic pipettes for measuring and dropping essential oil
- 1 glass pint jar
- 1 kitchen scale
- 1 wooden stirrer I use wooden skewer
Materials
- 26 gr beeswax
- 26 gr sunflower oil
- 26 gr coconut oil
- 18 drops peppermint essential oil
- 2 drops cedar essential oil
- 3 drops rosemary oil
Instructions
- Place glass jar on kitchen scale and tare to zero. After each ingredient, tare back to zero.
- Simmer and melt beeswax and sunflower in double boiler. Remove from heat
- Add coconut oil and stir until melted (you might need to add to double boiler if mixture cools too much)
- Add essential oil, stir and put into tubes or small lip balm tins
