Moisturizing Lip Balm
Equipment
- 1 double boiler with water
- 1 glass pint jar
- 1 kitchen scale
- 1 wooden stick for stirring
- 24 lip balm tubes with lid or tins
Ingredients
- 45 gr coconut oil
- 20 gr shea butter
- 20 gr beeswax
- 2 gr vitamin e oil
- 5 gr lanolin
- 12 drops butter flavored essential oil
Instructions
- Place glass jar on kitchen scale and weight out ingredients, taring scale to zero after each use
- Melt Coconut oil and beeswax in glass jar in double boiler
- Remove from heat and stir in shea butter
- Add vitamin E and lanolin and stir
- Add essential oil, stir and fill tubes/tin
