Preheat and prepare: preheat oven to 350degree F. Lightly grease cake pan and line with parchment paper
Whisk dry ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg
Mix the wet ingredients in another bowl. Beat the eggs with the sugar until smooth
Add honey, vegetable oil, coffee or juice and vanilla extract and mix until well blended
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet until just combined. Do not overmix - a few lumps are ok.
Pour the batter into your prepared pan. Smooth the top with a spatula and Back 40-50 minutes until toothpick comes out clean
Let cake cool in pan for 10 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cool you can dust with powdered sugar, icing or drizzle with honey.
