EAS in Kentucky: Bees in the Bluegrass, July 26-31

EA 2026 in Shepherdsville, KY will offer a rich Short Course and Main Conference, with themes focusing on queen health, nutrition and pest control with workshops and a field trip to the world famous Bourbon distillery.

From the Welcome Reception to the closing Banquet, the conference includes everything the beekeeping community relies upon from the conference: lectures focusing on queen health, nutrition, parasites and pathogens; Master Beekeeper Examinations; the Bee Olympics; a Honey Show; auctions; an exercise program; a short course with demonstrations, labs and workshops; and an extensive vendor hall!

Keynote speakers include Dr. David Tarpy, Dr. Michael Simone-Finstrom, and Dr. Meghan Milbrath.

All events will be held in the Paroquet Springs Convention Center, a 15-to-20 minute drive south of Louisville..

The conference has reserved blocks of rooms at several local hotels, and there are camping accommodations available as well.
