Honey Cupcake with Honey Cream Cheese Frosting

- 1 Mixer and mixing bowl
- 1 set measuring spoons
- 1 set measuring cups
- 1 cupcake baking tray
- 1 spoon
- 1 icing knife
- 1 spatula
- 2 mixing bowls
- 1 whisk
- 12 cupcake liners
Ingredients
Cupcake
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 1/2 cup whole fat Greek honey yogurt
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Honey Cream Cheese Frosting
- 1 cup softened cream cheese
- 1/2 cup softened salted butter
- 4 cup powdered sugar
- 6 tbs creamed honey
Instructions
Cupcake
- Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Prepare cupcake tine with paper liners
- in a mixing bowl, add dry ingredients. Set aside
- IN a separate mixing bowl, mix the wet ingredients
- Slowly whisk the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients 1/4 cup at a time until batter is smooth
- Fill each cupcake liner 2/3 full with cupcake batter
- Bake 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
- Cool completely on rack, about 20 minutes
Frosting
- Beat cream cheese, butter and honey together until smooth
- Slowly mix in powdered sugar
- After powdered sugar is fully incorporated, whisk frosting until smooth and a fluffy consistency.
- Frost cooled cupcakes and eat
