MSBA's June 7 Spring Meeting at UMD will be in a new room in a different building, and here is what you need to know to park, walk, access and join us for lunch in our new compact, convenient meeting format!

Location
Our meeting will take place in the the Biology-Psychology building (BPS) right next to the Plant Sciences Building, where we have met in the past. We will be in BPS 1250: this room is inside of the main entrance (facing Hornbake Plaza), around the corner to the Left, and the room entrance is located on the right. 

Parking
Folks can park in the Regents Parking Garage (Floors 1-3) on Regents Drive, as usual. The third floor has a walkway directly to Hornbake Plaza and the entrance to the Biology-Psychology Building. While the main entry has steps, there is accessibility information for all UMD buildings at: https://accessibility.umd.edu/ 

Compact Schedule and New Food/Refreshment Offerings
Starting in 2025, MSBA has been reducing meeting run times and offering "working lunches" in order to take no more than a half day of your time, but to provide the same (or greater) educational and community-building value. Working lunches include pizza and soft drinks, while our coffee service has been expanded to include more healthy options.

Remote Access Available
MSBA is committed to offering Zoom access to our three annual meetings, while securing these sessions, as well. For that reason PRE-REGISTRATION IS NOW REQUIRED to attend via Zoom. To avoid technical problems and to get questions answered, we recommend that you REGISTER AT LEAST A DAY IN ADVANCE. We are able to offer little or no support during the meeting.

Meeting recordings
MSBA Zoom meetings are recorded, and members can access them a few days after each session. If you are not an MSBA member, you can join here!
